To make a success of this venture you will need to promote yourself locally by organising Chocolate Parties and distributing the Chocoholics brochure. Most of the consumers who will want to book a Chocolate Party with you will prefer it to be in the evening as it is then that all their friends are most likely to be able to attend. You will find that there is a huge demand for Christmas Parties from late September to early December and for Easter Parties from early February to about two weeks before Easter. For you to get the greatest reward you will need to be prepared to make the most of those two short seasons. This may mean that you will be out for most evenings during those periods.
In common with all new businesses your success will depend on the effort you put in and the harder you are prepared to work the greater the rewards will be.
Many of our current Distributors aim to generate as much income during the course of our two seasons as they would by working part time for the whole year. This gives them the added benefit of not having to work over school holidays if they don’t want to. Although it can be tailor made to fit in with your home commitments you should be aware that when you are busy you would need the support of your family.
Finding customers will not be hard as Chocolate Parties are great fun and there are lots of benefits. Product quality is excellent, recommended retail prices start at just 10p, and with selected tasting samples being available to enable guests to taste, your hostesses will have no problem finding people to attend. As a reward for achieving higher sales your hostesses will also have the opportunity to earn commission and qualify for one or more free gifts.
Gold Discount Customers
We are now also able to offer in selected areas an alternative way for you to generate an income from Chocoholics. We know that there are many people who would enjoy selling our range but who are unable to commit to the role of a Chocoholics Distributor. We can now offer these people the chance to become Gold Discounts Customers.
Gold Discount Customers do not organise Chocolate Parties but are free to use a small sample kit and brochures to collect orders from family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours etc. It is also a popular way for fundraisers to generate income for their ‘good cause’.
Existing door to door sales agents e.g. Avon, Bettaware etc, could find this an excellent way to supplement their income by offering their customers our range as well as their existing products.
Gold Discount Customers do not have to carry a large display kit around and tend to work locally so do not necessarily have to be able to drive or have a car.
